1.  Double click the StockTradingSignal icon     on your computer's screen to start  StockTradingSignal

2.  From the main screen , click "Options" -> "Set Data Source"

3.  Select your data provider and click "Save"

4.  From the main window, click the  "Portfolio" box ( as shown below ) to select a portfolio, say demo1. The selected stock list is displayed and STS starts to receive streaming quotes.

If you want to stop the streaming quote, click "File" --> "Stop receiving real-time data"

5. Right click a ticker in the stock list to bring up the popup menu.

6. From this popup menu, you may bring up Portfolio Editor, Alert Editor, Chart Window, Time&Sale Window, Integrated Trading Window.

Let's say, you click "Open Chart Window for ..." in the popup menu. A chart window is displayed:

7. You may change the ticker, time interval and technical indicators. To select technical indicators, right-click anywhere in the chart to bring up the popup menu:

Select "Technical Analysis" to display the configuration dialog window:

Select your favorite technical indicators and click "Apply". The selected indicators will be displayed.

From this window, you may also setup technical indicator alerts and select alert methods.

8. Go back to Step5 above, (right click a ticker in the StockList Window to bring up the popup menu). Select "Open Integrated Trading Window for ...".  A new window is displayed as shown below. The two charts in this window are independent and can be set to display different tickers, different  time frames, and different  technical indicators.
